Remembrance Day: Honoring Service, Sacrifice, and Peace

Remembrance Day: Honoring Service, Sacrifice, and Peace

Every November 11th, we gather to honor those who have served and sacrificed in times of war. Originally known as Armistice Day, this day marks the end of World War I in 1918. Today, Remembrance Day is a time to reflect on the courage and resilience of all veterans and service members, as well as those who gave their lives in the pursuit of freedom and peace.

By wearing a poppy and observing moments of silence, we pay tribute to their bravery and express our gratitude for the peace their sacrifices have helped protect. This day also reminds us of the importance of unity, compassion, and the ongoing pursuit of peace.

In remembering their legacy, we renew our commitment to honor and cherish the freedom they fought to preserve.

"So Afraid of Dying, We Forget to Live" Isn’t it strange how so many people are afraid of dying… yet they’re not really living? It’s a bit of a contradiction. The fear of death is really about the fear of not living . And yet, that fear often holds us back from doing exactly what we’re here to do— live . We get stuck in routines, worry about the future, and put off things that bring us joy. We play it safe, thinking we’re protecting ourselves. But what we’re really doing is missing out. It's a pointless anxiety, because the one thing we all know for sure is that life will eventually end. The real question is: What are we doing with the time we’ve got? So how do we turn it around? Feel the fear, but don’t let it control you. It’s okay to be afraid sometimes. Just don’t let it stop you from living. Say yes more. Say yes to ...

You may also be asked about your preferences regarding pressure and any areas you'd like the therapist to avoid. 2.
